Attorney Motroni is a skilled strategic Family Law Attorney and has been licensed in California since 1994. Her emphasis is in the area of Matrimonial law with an emphasis in Divorce and Child Custody. Denise has a strong educational background coupled with her current continuing education of the Bar (State of California) she has numerous degrees which make her a strong speaker and advocator in family law and juvenile dependency courts. She began her post high school education while attending Mills College, which was a private woman's college in Oakland, California, where she graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political and Economic Analysis and a minor in English. This led her to obtaining a teaching degree while studying at California State University Stanislaus. Subsequently, her career path moved forward with the goal of pursuing a future law degree. She attended Santa Clara University School of Law graduating with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1993. Attorney Motroni advocates for parents, in that she is a parent herself. She enjoys the ability to guide parents through what can be a difficult time in divorce or breakup, assisting with the transition in the remaking of their family unit. She not only advocates for the parent she represents, but counsels them with guidance such as advising that "as long as their children are able to depend on one or both parents to continue to be in their corner that the children will adapt to any new normal that offers a continuity and structure on which they can depend". Her philosophy relating to family law is that each client deserves to understand the legal process in which they are being required to participate, to receive guidance from the attorney, and to realistically know what to expect. Half the battle in any endeavor is understanding the process so that a person can emotionally and intellectually prepare for their immediate future.
