A Divorce with assets does not always have to be litigated. Our attorneys have strong negotiation skills with 24 years settling heavy asset divorce cases. When spouses are willing to settle, our attorneys can meet or correspond until financial issues are settled.

Once the issues are settled a settlement agreement is prepared and filed with the court for approval by the judge.

Resolving issues can be the most time consuming element of divorce. However, if you are up to settling, and have done your financial homework, a settlement conference may suit you well. Not all cases settle immediately. If you are presented an inequitable offer by the opposing side there may be a cooling off period necessary.

Taking the time needed to focus on a settlement agreement can be important. Don't fall into the category of giving in just to get out!
