Negotiations in Divorce

As a 26 plus year law firm, we encourage negotiating a family law settlement as an alternative to litigating issues that can be resolved equitably.

The best scenario for an equitable settlement of divorce issues occurs when the spouses remain civil and care what is in the best interest of the children and each other (if possible). Dealing with abusive ex spouses will not set the stage for an amicable settlement.

If there are minor issues to be resolved, a strong negotiating attorney can save thousands of litigation costs on your behalf.  Depending on the extent of issues such as support, debt, assets and property, the legal process can be lessened with a strong negotiator.

When the divorcing or separating couple cooperate, they are more capable of co-parenting together and the best parenting arrangement can be attained. Trying to get a custody arrangment you can live with is by far the best method in family law.
